The LSZ and the UZ Faculty of Law share the same vision and aspirations as far as the legal profession is concerned. The Faculty produces the professionals that the Society regulates.
The LSZ and the Faculty interact in a number of ways, e.g.
- The UZ Faculty of Law Board member sits in the LSZ Council
- The UZ Faculty of Law Board and LSZ Council are represented in the Council for Legal Education.
- There is a standing arrangement between the two bodies whereby the LSZ is allowed access to the Faculty's final year students for the LSZ to talk about the profession in general and advising them of their choices.
